Christmas Party

Today we talked about the number 15 and continued the letter N.

We did N for Noise, Noise makers and New years. I did my best, but it seems like kids don't quite understand what it means to have a new year yet. But it didn't matter much. We counted down from 15 and yelled "happy New Years" anyway and loved it. Here's a video:

We played a math Gingerbread man game. They would roll the die, count the dots on it and color a box with that number in it. They did really well with this game and are getting good at recognizing those lower numbers.

Finally it was party time. They took turns giving away the gifts they got for each other. I loved how sweet everyone was about the gift they got, and saying Thank You to the person giving the gift. (Maybe even a kiss to show appreciation.) :)

Taelee received card games.

Jackson received a car.

Ella received markers and a coloring page.

Henry received a bunch of rescue cars.

Isabella received a game.

Joshua received a puzzle.

Merry Christmas everyone.
