J is for Jelly Bean! I filled a Jar with different things that began with J and an equal amount of Jelly Beans. The kids chose out a picture and got to eat a Jelly Bean too.
Next we filled in the letter J with "jump rope" aka yarn. I loved this picture of Isabella!
Then I was brave and brought out the shaving cream! The kids weren't too sure about having such messy hands, but they did great practicing there J's. A towel close by was the key!
My favorite part was the art project. We made Jelly fish with Jelly Beans and Jars. We put a coffee filter in a jar, dipped two jelly beans in two colors, put them in the jar, put the lid on, and the kids went to town shaking their jars! The colors they came out with looked great! They had a lot of fun with it too! While the paint dried with went outside to practice jumping rope. Once the paint was dry we added some tentacles and a string on top. They turned out great! Maybe it was just my daughter, but she was in love with hers!
Loved there faces while they used their "muscles" to shake their jars.
The kids had fun jumping rope. They all kept telling me, I know how to do it Miss Whitney! Like they knew exactly what they were doing, and didn't want any direction from me...great effort kids!
We played hide the Turkey...they LOVED it!
Our Turkey!
Our gratitude tree the kids have been working on for the month of November. I think the kids really grasp the concept of gratitude, they are such good kids!
Super cute!! Isabella hung her jellyfish as soon as she got home, she loved it!
