G is for Garbage

Thursday I had lots of fun at preschool. We talked about the letter G.

First I was walking and tripped and all of my garbage fell out of my garbage can. The kids were very sweet to help me pick them up, tell me what it is (all G word) and throwing them away.

Next we talked about garbage and garbage trucks. We took turns picking one (totaling 7 the number for the week) and talked about why garbage trucks are important. Then we watched someone read "I Stink" (Henry's favorite book).

Another fun activity we did was make Oscar the Grouches. We then used them to sing along to "I Love Trash". The kids were very cute with this.

Our last activity was a garbage match up puzzle. The kids had to match the number on a garbage truck to the square with the same amount of garbage cans.

The kids were very well behaved today and it went really well.
